Dallas area board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Rod Rohrich believes in giving his patients the highest quality and safest procedures possible when performing procedures, but educating other surgeons and medical professionals so they can provide the same to their patients is as prominent of a part of his career as performing surgery itself. Organizing and taking part of educational symposiums is a large part of how he achieves this in his career. While still performing his duties as a professor and surgeon at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in addition to surgeon at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute, he will be organizing and chairing two symposiums and participating heavily in another in February and March of 2018.

While not taking an administrative role in the event, Dr. Rod Rohrich will be moderating and be participating in panels, be presenting lectures, and even performing a live surgery in front of attendees. He will be one of the esteemed national and international faculty at this event that will be taking place in Miami, Florida from February 8th through the 10th.

The 21st and 52nd annual Global Dallas Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine Meeting and Dallas Rhinoplasty Meeting that are both being chaired and moderated by Dr. Rod Rohrich are taking place one after the other from February 28th to March 1st and March 2nd through 3rd. The Medicine Meeting is suggested for a wider array of medical professionals while the Rhinoplasty Meeting is specifically being organized for plastic surgeons. Both of these acclaimed events will feature internationally acclaimed faculty and a fresh cadaver lab that will be used for demonstrations and hands-on labs for students and practicing surgeons. During these two educational symposiums Dr. Rod Rohrich will be moderating and participating in multiple panels, giving lectures, and performing surgery in the cadaver labs.

The Baylor College of Medicine graduate is a civic leader and frequently volunteers his time to help those in need. In 2012 Rohrich co-founded AIRS, the Alliance in Reconstructive Surgery: an organization that provides reconstructive surgery to breast cancer survivors who have undergone mastectomies. He has also trained surgeons in third world countries during trips to perform surgery on children who have suffered severe burns or congenital deformities. On a local level, he provided immunizations to impoverished children in the Dallas area where he lives with his wife and two children. Follow Instagram
